This brought back a memory from some time ago. When I was living in N.Y. a guy, I was walking with, was attacked by two men. I ran into a store and asked them to call the police. The guy I was with would not give any description. He was too afraid of what they might do to him. As it is, they lived kitty corner from us. They had put the word out that a contract was on my head, for having the police called. For some time, friends and my daughter would keep around me so they couldn't shoot me through my window.
Finally, I told everyone to stop it-that God was taking care of me, and nothing was going to happen to me. They quit.
A few weeks later, a lady I had helped, with her family, told me that she heard that there was a contract out on me. She informed them, if they touched a hair on my head, they would disappear since her ex father-in-law was the mob boss.
Shortly thereafter, these guys were gone, and no one ever heard from them again.
I was right. But to God be the glory. Great things He hath done.
I believe her witnessing did have an affect on him since he was tearful, but why did he take her $10 dollars?
This was God! I felt His Spirit all over me as she spoke from the Bible to that sinner. It is clear that she knows and trusts her Heavenly Father.
I am 75 and a Nursing Home minister. I pray I can be as strong in God and His Word and His Spirit as this sister in Christ at all times: In easy and hard places; even in death. I pray many will come to Christ as they see and hear her video, and experience the reality of a living Savior..

she ministered and the thief heeded to God's word. a good example of courage on the part of the old woman. she believed in her heart that Jesus is always with her everywhere and everytime. she could have lost a hundred dollars which Jesus did not allow...and so she gave ten dollars as her share or tithe.

Boomer you don't get it....she wasn't 'lucky', she had God to protect her. She had enough faith for God to protect her.
She's very lucky that she drew a mugger who still had a conscience. Many ladies in her position aren't so lucky.
We are all sinner but none of us are born with all the sins but the life experiences change us over the time. This young man never faced God or Satan took over his mind but God gave him a chance to obey his words and the law through this old lady. Hope he is doing better and God is looking after him. Don't waste you life with a corrupted mind and heart.

This is SO TRUE,mention GOD and it scares them other 2 stories:
# 1 A woman came home at night got out of her car starting walking toward her apt.a man came up from behind and grabbed her they went into her apt where he held her for about 2 days and this entire time she was talking to him about GOD , he finally released her to authorities which was outside of her apt.
# 2 A parent got a call from some boy whom was a gang member which he told the name of the gang and he told them he was gonna kill their son and the woman told him 'you ain't gonna kill nobody cause god is gonna punish you the kid got scared and went away never showed his face again !
Putting the fear into people about GOD's actions some how scares people that they may go to hell and really be punished and it's so true !Read the ten commandments in the bible :If you go against those 10 verses you will be punished I sincerely believe it cause it's happened to people bad things after going against GODS words .Cindy
