Comedian Tim Hawkins Jokes About Holding Hands In Church
Hilarious comedian Tim Hawkins talks about holding hands in church. This short clip is pretty funny and I’m sure many of you can relate. Let us know if you laughed while watching this.
Yeah. I agree with this comedian. I don't really like being 'forced' to hold hands in church. Not that I'm a cold fish..its just that I don't think you should be doing it 'on cue' when your told to..it is very uncomfortable I reckon!

I TRULY BELIEVE GOD HAS AN AWESOME SENSE OF HUMOR. THE JOY OF KNOWING HIM SHOULD MAKE ONE DANCE AND LAUGH AND PLAY OR EVEN HOLD HANDS WHEN PRAYING... OH AND HUGS ARE IMPORTANT TOO. A TRUE BELIEVER CAN UNDERSTAND THIS...

No, I could not relate at all to this person's humour, Quite frankly, I could not see where the humour lay! But I guess how you weave humour with your faith is very much a cultural affair. My fellow Pakistanis, both Christians & Muslims, would do their best to avoid any hand-holding, touching or petting in places of worship. We adopt (praise God!) a somewhat conservative view of things.

I will pray for the pastor and you! What he did was wrong but you shouldn’t let that keep you from a relationship with God. He will have to answer for what he did when he comes face to face with God. We are all works in progress and not perfect till we get to heaven. We are human, which doesn’t make it right (we should be loving one another as God loves us) but it is why we still sin. You need to try and forgive and pray for him instead of being bitter.

Love it!!! Tim Hawkins is one of the best Christian comedians. I love to hold hands when praying but I must admit sometimes it is hard to stay focused on the prayer. For the person who hasn't been to church since being disappointed by her pastor, I will pray for the pastor and you! What he did was wrong but you shouldn't let that keep you from a relationship with God. He will have to answer for what he did when he comes face to face with God. We are all works in progress and not perfect till we get to heaven. We are human, which doesn't make it right (we should be loving one another as God loves us) but it is why we still sin. That was pretty funny, thanks for the post.

I refuse to hold hands with anyone in Church. I also refuse to give the "sign of peace" to a stranger. It is hypocritical in my eyes, when these very people after services either start gossiping, or arguing out in the parking lot, or just plain mean to you the rest of the week. Nope, not a gesture from me. People are hypocrites, just putting on airs for those in Church. Especially with all the slander, scandal etc., that we're hearing and reading about in the Catholic Church. I left the Church years ago because the Pastor of my Church broke the confidentially of my life three times to the choir director, choir, and many people that knew me in the Church. A confidential bit of information is just that and I trust no one now. Holding hands, what a joke!!!
