What Can God Teach You Through A Penguin

Here is a cute video of a penguin taking a “leap of faith”. We know this video is cute and but it also illustrates that all of us need to have faith in God and trust in him and “leap” forward to accomplish our goals.

All I see is a South African Penguin preparing to hop over a gap which is easily crossed. It does no doubt have to make this jump, and many more, many times as South African penguins nest on the rocky scree by the coast, and the chick needs fed frequently with food that can only be aquired from the sea. These penguins are extremely good jumpers and even if it were to fall, it would likely be unhurt as they have a thick layer of fat which cushions any of their impacts.

"Leap of Faith" is a difficult to hold on to it sometimes; especially as you get older. It is almost strange to recognize what I've done many things without fear in the past. At young age, your mind is focused on what you want to do and don't even think about fear of all things might happen or "what if" thoughts. As you get older, it would be much more difficult to re-do anything if you fail. It is due to less energy, declined physical condition, increased insecurity, etc. Taking a chance would be less and less. It may be a good thing in some cases but the Leap of Faith may give you a full of life in other area.

I don't like having to not stand up for myself simply because my beliefs are NOT the status quo. That makes me harbor resentment, even when it's my fault (though my fault because I don't want to risk friendships and trust and relationships over my lack of faith).Some Christians are good people. Some Christians are crackpots. If all Christians were good people, I might have more faith... but they're not. Nice video , God gave all his creatures minds first and then faith to solve problems and treat their lives in good ways. It seems that only animals know how to deal with its mind and faith. Because in our human race we don't use our mind so much and we lost our faith. that's the reason of all the incidents and wars and fights in the world.

I was so worried the Penguin may not make it and thought why he has to go to the other side for. It looks the same rock and why take a chance to jopadise his life. Well, it tells me that I'm a careful person who may miss the chance due to take a safe way. However, we need to take a chance once in a while. It is the faith in God and leap the reward.

Animals and small children will try almost anything. Adults think too much about the what ifs. With God there are no what ifs. He is always there and always will be. Do not always listen to people listen to your heart or a small voice in your head (some call it intution). But listen with the love of God in your heart and all things are possible.
